Disappointed with flag decision

I am disappointed with a decision by our Council to put up flags favouring one culture when others are ignored.

Our Italian community has contributed billions of dollars or pounds over the years since white society has been in Hay, plus other nationalities who don’t get a mention.

My Aboriginal friends and workmates and their families are probably up in arms about this decision as well.

They know who they are and what they have achieved over the last 200 odd years.

They are great families, but don’t insult them for what their race didn’t do for all those years.
