She was one of the driving forces behind Hay’s dipping concept, supporting local businesses throughout lockdown by running a social media raffle page, and now Chloe Deacon (pictured) has opened her own retail outlet in Lachlan Street.

The stylish space opened on Sunday, and was well supported by customers, with some items near to selling out on the first day.

Sarge and Daisy exclusively carries Australian fashion labels for men, women and children, including Ringers Western, Refuge Denim, Ave the Label and Coco Cartel. Chloe also supports regional cottage industries, carrying a range of handcrafted homewares.

“I was overwhelmed with the support from local townspeople,” Chloe told The Grazier.

“Even those who just stopped by to say ‘Hey’.

“The first day was a huge success.”

Sarge and Daisy is located at 176 Lachlan Street.
