Hay Embraces the Mini

A crowd of 1500 supporters lined Lachlan and Moppet Streets on Saturday for the Australian Hay Mini Nationals parade and show and shine.

The much-anticipated events again attracted contestants from throughout NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

Results distributed via social media listed Matthew Goldfinch as outright winner with his Moke and Cooper Ellis in second place (Mini). Ellis was also the Hay Heroes outright winner.

Sean Alexander’s original BMC/Morris took out the Bidgee Motor Inn Best Presented vehicle.

Megan Sturm won the Junior Hay Heroes.

Saturday night’s gymkhana concluded with another spectacular fireworks display by Anthony Slattery.
