Lurleen takes out the coveted Mitchell challenge

Age shall not weary her ... Hay octogenarian, Lurleen Mitchell won the coveted Over 60s Female category in the Best of the Bush Competition at the recent Mitchell family reunion.

Competitors had to set a rabbit trap, saw off the end of a piece of wood, hammer a nail into the wood, put terminals on a battery and finally, run up to place a bale of hay into a wheelbarrow and wheel it to the finish line.

Margie McClelland was there to capture Lurleen pushing her heavy load to the finish line.
