Memorial Poker Run delivers to local community groups

Participants travelled from as far away as Kingaroy, Queensland, for the annul Shag Gregory Memorial Poker Run.

The charity event attracted 184 hands with up to 90 bikes.

Poker hand winners were Chris Hey’s full house 10s and 7s with Amber Tumolero second and Justin Sneidro in third place.

Worst hand was John Garner.

The committee would like to thank Hay Scouts who provided a cooked breakfast, Sue and Lloyd Brettshneider for helping with merchandise, Gary and Di Congdon providing the back-up vehicle and Brendan Ragg who was the volunteer bus driver.

Big thanks also to Ben, Marie and staff at South Hay Hotel.
