On Wednesday evening Nothing But Net emerged clear winners, after posting an early lead in the autumn competition grand final match against Hotshots.

It took some time for Hotshots to find their rhythm in the freezing conditions, but their shooting improved during the game; by the fourth quarter there was just one goal the difference.

The early lead and pin-point accuracy of Nothing But Net’s experienced goal shooters ultimately proved the difference.

Final score: Nothing But Net 43 defeated Hotshots 16

Player of the grand final was awarded to Olivia Joyce (Nothing But Net).

Other competition award winners:

Best and fairest winner - Di Plum (Mixed Nuts)

Runner up- Kayla Garner (Mixed Nuts)

Junior Best & Fairest - Lucy Shea (Nothing But Net)
