Hay Highland dancers achieve in Champion of Champions

Euen and Elsbeth Kerr travelled to Launceston, Tasmania to compete in the 2022 Highland Dancing Champion of Champions of Australia and returned home with several placings as well as trophies.

Competing over two days at the Silverdome, Elsbeth and Euen danced confidently among the 300 competitors from every state of Australia, Canada and Scotland.

Elsbeth received fifth and sixth placings, resulting in seventh overall and Euen received second, third and fifth placings, resulting in third overall.

They won medals and trophies for their placings and are proud to bring them home to Hay.

Teachers Kylie Kerr and Douglas McFarland were extremely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to their next competition at the Eastern Australian Championships in Sydney in May.
