Skybound shearers
Members of the Morrison shearing team were treated to silver service on the weekend, by the Murray family, of Trilby Station.
Tom Murray, son of Trilby owners Gary and Liz, flew into Hay in his Cessna 210 Centurion to collect the shearing team and transport them to the vast station, near Louth in central NSW.
Shearing boss Andrew Morrison was not so fortunate; he undertook the 13 hour journey via road.
The trip usually takes around six hours, but he was forced to detour via Balranald, due to the flood waters that have closed the Cobb Highway to Ivanhoe.
