Haydays Retirement Hostel Board Chair, Wayne Mitchell was presented with a cheque for $43,000 from Hay Community Bank Branch Manager Sandra Dolan and Customer Relationship Officer Maddison Aylett for the purchase of a new Nissan X trail SUV from local dealership Arandt Nissan Hay.

A public meeting will be called later in the year by the Local Health Advisory Committee to address obstacles which prevent Hay from attracting funding for a Multi-Purpose Service at the hospital.
