Zoe realises her dream job

By Kimberly Grabham

Zoe Biggs, daughter of Kim and the late Mark Biggs, graduate of Hay War Memorial High School, and friendly face that used to be found in the IGA deli, has graduated as a Paramedic.

Zoe undertook a four-year Bachelor of Paramedic Practice with Honours (Clinical) at La Trobe University in Bendigo and completed her degree in 2021.

She has been allocated Colac for her training year as a Graduate Ambulance Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria.

Zoe has worked since 2019, the second year of her degree, until she received her paramedic position as an Ambulance Community Officer with Ambulance Victoria, predominantly from St Arnaud.

This was a volunteer role where she assisted paramedics to care for and transport patients in rural areas.
