Back-to-back wins for South Hay Snipers

By Kimberly Grabham

Hay Darts Association teams threw it all against the wall for their last games of the season.

In nail-biting fashion, they faced off at the grand final, at Hay Services Club.

Martyn Quinn walked away from the Major Singles the victor, defeating Damien Crocker 2 to 1.

In the Major Doubles, Damien Crocker and Brian ‘BJ’ Gash defeated Ricky Dickson and Gary Symons 2 to 1.

Major Triples play off saw Matt Smith, Gary Symons, and Ricky Dickson defeat Damien Crocker, Tony Fattore, and Roger Booth 1 to zero.

In the team event, South Hay Snipers defeated 6 to 3, heralding back-to-back wins for the Snipers.

After the important games were finalised, darts were played on into the night, with players enjoying each other’s company.

Congratulations to the Hay Darts Association on another successful season; not only do they provide excellent competition and entertainment for many, but they consistently support worthy causes in our town.
