Tennis finals decided

Hay will host the semi-finals and finals of the Riverina High Schools knockout for both boys’ and girls’ competitions, for the first time.

Team winners of the three other zones - Albury, Wagga and Griffith, will meet this week in Hay to play Hay teams.

Also played were five finals from the previous Monday night women’s/mixed competition.

A grade - HPS - Ellie Jamieson/Bronwyn Hicks defeated Hay Newsagency Kirsten Hutchings/Dan Jamieson 6/5 6/1.

A Reserve - Hills Corner Store - Sarah Lugsdin/Matt Christensen defeated Hay Services Club - Katie Howard/Brad Callaghan 6/4 6/3.

B grade - St Marys - Vince Campbell/Prince Patel defeated Pynors Accountants - Kim Curtis/Emma Curtis 6/5 6/5.

B Reserve - Riverine Grazier - Tertia Butcher/Margie McClelland drew Willshear - Kayla Garner/Jarrod Walton 5/6 6/5.

C grade - Lani Houston Consultant - Lani and Bill Houston defeated Radio 2 Hay Fm - Max Hutchings/Jagger Shields 6/5 6/4.
