Young future football stars give it their all

The next generations of rugby league and league tag champions were out in force, with the Hay Public School 2 Tag Team qualifying for the Mortimer Shield Riverina finals, to be held in Wagga next Term.

The boys team only narrowly missed qualifying, having won three out of four games, and also making a superlative effort. Booligal School and SOTA School students were also instrumental, helping make up the numbers. So many of these students are multi-talented sporting players, foraying into tennis, cricket, and football leagues, such impressive efforts. Congratulations to you all, and to Mrs Books on her hard work, and Jamie Woods and Brad Callaghan, who were game day coaches. You all should be very proud.
