Mixed netball enjoyed their first season in Hay, culminating in a riveting Grand Final.
Nail biting game, showcasing everyone’s best efforts in play resulted in Hotshots emerging victorious.
Hotshot dazzled onlookers with their domination of the first three quarters, exhibiting solid centre court play.
Netseekers worked valiantly in defence, but struggled to get the ball to shooters. Netseekers fought back, winning the last quarter, but alas was not enough to catch up to the victors.
Jayden Kinces from Hotshots was awarded Player of the Grand Final, due to his natural sportsmanship, and ability to control the ball with ease and skill.
Fun and successful pursuits such as mixed netball would not happen without the support and assistance of not only players and organisers, but umpires and scorers.
Congratulations to all, the first mixed netball season was thoroughly entertaining. We will be watching for even bigger and better things in 2023.
