Liam reaches new heights

Liam Whitbourne made the Long Form Senior Cricket Competition start with a bang picking up nine wickets for seven runs.

It is a very rare occurrence to see nine wickets taken in an innings, a great achievement.

Keen observers of Hay cricket noted that Liam now joins the illustrious names of John Lugsdin, Clive Davenport and Brian Harrington as players to have captured nine wickets in an innings in Hay Cricket.
