Neagle makes country AFL team of the year
Balranald Roos star Jydon Neagle has been named in the Weekly Times Country AFL Team of the Year. The talented Neagle was also named assistant coach, alongside country football legend and ex-Geelong player Garry Hocking.
Neagle was named at number 10 in the Weekly Times top 50 players of the year.

The race to secure the June High Gun at Hay Gun Club was a tie between Phil Headon and Glen Kable who finished with a score of 138/155; the pair decided to split the win.

Boots out for Dallas
Under 14.5 Lions joined football clubs from around the country in remembering and honouring a fellow footballer, and putting their boots out for Dallas. Castlemaine Football Netball Club footballer Dallas Keogh-Frankling from the Bendigo Football league landed awkwardly in a tackle against Kyneton but played out the game and even ran off the field after the final siren.
Hay’s under 14s enjoyed a massive win, played with a true display of sportsmanship.
